Two teams were on the Bonneville Salt Flats for the BUB Motorcycle Speed Trials this week. These time trials are FIM accredited which turned out to be significant regarding to the 215.96 miles/hr record that Lightning set a couple weeks ago.

This week Lightning Motorcycles went to the Bonneville Salt Flats and made a huge leap forward for electric motorcycle performance, completely shattering previous electric motorcycle land speed records. Records that had been set by Lightning a year ago.

The second race in the TTXGP 2010 North America series was held last weekend (June 6, 2010) at the Road America track in Wisconson. Seven teams competed over the weekend, largely the same field as in race 1 at Infineon.
