Electricity on its way to Frankfurt



The Norwegian newspaper dagbladet posts today that the Audi R8 will be shown as a pure electric version at the car show in Frankfurt this year. VW's city-car UP, which gets here in 2011 will also be available as an electric.

Looking forward to the specs on the R8 indeed!

The TTXGP 2009 - A Silent Adrenaline Kick

The TTXGP/The eGrandPrix Isle of Man road race have been run and from what I can tell by the video's I found on youtube; it's a hit. The riders seems to be in awe about the bikes and the engineering. WHO BUILT THE MOON BUGGY??????????

Remember the car the US Astronauts took to the moon? That was a long time ago, but I wonder if that company still builds electric cars. It seems to me that the problem is that high tech companies like Raytheon, Grumman, Boeing are not very interested in building autos, because of the low profit margin. In the US it is more prfitable to pursue defense contracts.

I don't think this is a technology problem in the US, but a profit problem.

Think gets debt relief

Creditors to Think in Aurskog is agreeing to only receive half of their claims towards the EV manufacturer. The company needs 300 million NOK before they could resume production. 250 of that has been reported to been a sure thing in the Norwegian press earlier this summer
