300 mile long EW journey is one for the books

No it is not a typo. A Norwegian couple decided to take on the 300 mile long journey from Trondheim to Oslo, Norway with their Electric Wheelchairs when the national train company NSB told them that their wheelchairs was to big to be allowed on board. The journey took 9 days and they got their juice from camping sites along the route (google maps)

The journey has gotten a lot of publicity in the Norwegian media and its done as a protest against NSB and their rules for allowing wheelchairs on-board. If their EW´s would have been 34 cm shorter they would have been allowed to get on-board.

The EW´s has a top speed of 5.5 mph. It was a fun trip with lots of support from the people they met along the way and a transportation company has let them know that they will be happy to give them a ride back home after Ole-Jørgen and Torill´s vacation is finished.

While this article is a little of topic I hope you all like it =)
