Electric Vehicle stops nuclear waste train




Representatives from the Neptune Network stoppet a nuclear waste train transport this friday using the pint sized Buddy electric vehicle. The protest was met with swift action from the nuclear police and the buddy was placed on the side of the track. Pictures with the EV standing on the track can be found longer down in the article. Even though the Sellafield plant is struggling with technical difficulties, the management at Sellafield Lld has chosen to continue to receive nuclear waste for processing and Neptune Network finds that unacceptable.
