Oslo EV Parade to keep government incentives

Norway is famous for its EV incentives that has helped propelling an electric vehicle to outsell small gas cars nationwide. Today the norwegian EV association together with politicians from all political parties paraded through Oslo escorted by police to mark unity in keeping the incentives.

 

If you not familiar with the incentive sceme it includes: Free parking, free electricity on charging station, no VAT upon purchase, free toll road pass and almost no road tax to name a few.

Rune Gerhardsen from the Labor Party even joked that the next goal for EV incentives should be that it is allowed to drive at a red light and the spirit was good among the politicians. Everyone agreed that more charging station are needed since the 400 already in place are almost always occupied during weekdays.

 

There are usually many Think employees participating in these events but sadly today they could not be part of the event since the court refuses to have the company owned fllet made avaliable after yesterdays bankruptcy announcement.
