Last week, we learned that a deal for the troubled ev-maker, Think, would get through before Thursday. Here´s what we got for you in the meantime:
Indre.no is reporting that the management at Think is very optimistic: "We have received very positive signals from the government and we are also working with current and future investors. I will not elaborate on who the new investors are, but they are not Norwegian. I am certain that we will find a solution eventually" Katinka von der Lippe, spokesperson, Think
At the same time, NRK is reporting that Stein Erik Hagen, one of the current investors, will team up with
Rec-founder Alf Bjørseth on the rescue plan. No officials are confirming this yet.
So, while all of this excitement is cooking.
indre.no is also reminding us of the stew that is brewing for some of it´s workers. Even if the rescue package goes through, Think will still need to temporarily lay of some of it´s workforce. How many and who is not to tell yet, but the reality will be reflected throughout the organization. This will probably mean that the number of cars that will be produced at the factory will remain low until Think can secure additional loans for their desired expansion.
