We all kind of knew the day was coming and today its for real. Think has declared bankruptcy and th company that made us found electricaid.org in the first place will be dismantled in the norwegian courts in the days ahead.
Think has had a difficult life from the start over 20 years ago. With many crisis averted and another bankruptcy in the past this will probably mean the end no matter what happens in the court. New investors could take over the estate and IP but it is limited how much insecurity the talented engineers and other non-management staff can take over the years, and I guess you can says that it is too many ghost in the walls of the Think-HQ in Oslo for it to ever function properly again.
So with that I would like to raise my glass and offer a salute to Think. The pioneer-phase of the EV movement had never been the same without you.

Comment by Linas Tatarūnas on July 20, 2011 at 2:21pm The Th!nk Open was the one I wanted. Last month 2 more charging stations in Santa Cruz, CA. had a ribbon cutting and opening. I think we have 4 or 5 charging stations in our county. Triac is planned to be built in Salinas, CA, so a 3-wheel Triac EV was here. Later in the month that plan was stopped. I don't know why, or if anything is changing at the Indiana Th!nk assembly plant.
